Synthetic Maintenance
As our slogan says, synthetic grass courts and multipurpose facilities are” low maintenance not no maintenance”. Regular care with our specialised machines ensures that the pile of your carpet is kept to a high quality and also works to minimise the dirt, moss and algae levels which can cause occupational health and safety problems and also creates irregular bounce along with longevity issues.
As a result, we recommend our four monthly program which enables us to keep your court under control all year round. This sees a scheduled maintenance call in the summer period, winter period which is the most important and another one in between.
We also offer a six monthly schedule, but if the winter period is horrendous it can really effect the condition of the court if we cannot get our maintenance completed.
Our Maintenance Program includes:
- Whipper snipping (does not harm the carpet at all due to using nylon cord) the perimeter of the court where our machines cannot get access to and also to eliminate any growth problems
- Blowing of court to remove leaves, vegetation and other unwanted objects
- Mechanical grooming by one of our purpose built machines
- Salting of the court with regular pool salt (much more environmentally friendly and better for people with young children) to eliminate or minimise moss and algae build up.
En Tout Cas Maintenance
En tout cas maintenance should be conducted more regularly than the synthetic grass maintenance due to the frequent build up of moss and algae. This is caused by the ability of the en tout cas surface to hold onto any moisture which penetrates the growth of grass and weeds along with moss and algae.
Maintenance to En tout cas courts should be conducted every three months, however we also offer a four monthly program as well.
Our maintenance program for En Tout Cas includes:
- Whipper snipping perimeter of the court to remove weeds, grass, moss and algae
- Scrapping of the centre of the court remove weeds, grass, moss and algae
- Replacement of En Tout Cas if needed
- Brushing of the court with an Aussie Clean Sweep and our purpose built giant brush for the finish
Salting of the court with regular pool salt (much more environmentally friendly and better for people with young children) to eliminate or minimise moss and algae build up.
